AMERGINT is seeking an experienced Capture Manager who will be responsible for identifying, developing, and winning new business for AMERGINT Technologies within core and adjacent markets in the satellite and launch communication domain.  The Capture Manager is accountable for winning new business through experienced capture management, market analysis, strategy development, then leading the execution of the strategy, and monitoring progress toward established objectives. They will lead a multi-functional, high-performing team to accomplish objectives in a dynamic matrixed environment.

This position will be located in our Colorado Springs or Denver, CO office.

Core Responsibilities

  • Characterize and analyze satellite communication and launch communication markets
  • Provide analytical insights into customer budgets, buying behaviors, trends, budgets, and schedules
  • Leverage industry knowledge, competitive benchmarking, commercial databases, and internal competitive intelligence to prepare market, customer, and competitor assessments with business implications and actionable recommendations
  • Attend industry events, conferences, summits, and symposiums to maintain cognizance of customer needs and hard problems and industry capabilities
  • Identify key industry partnerships to maximize new business growth
  • Work closely with the Capture Manager and lead all Competitive Intelligence Reviews; support all necessary Capture Team reviews
  • Work closely with Business Development to develop strategic and tactical multi-level customer engagement plans addressing both short- and long-term growth
  • Work closely with Business Development and provide inputs to the development of the AMERGINT strategic plan
  • Collaborate with Engineering Team to provide inputs to technology roadmaps & related Internal Research & Development (IRAD) projects to create discriminators necessary to develop new business

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Management, Computer Science, or a related Engineering discipline, and 10+ years related experience
  • Minimum of 5 years demonstrated capture management experience for DoD and/or IC
  • Minimum of 5 years strategic planning or program management experience
  • Experience leading concurrent small and medium size capture campaigns
  • Must demonstrate agile decision making, strategic thinking and ability to influence individuals and teams to drive results
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching and mentoring of individuals and teams
  • Must be available to travel as necessary
  • May need to obtain and maintain a security clearance for this position

Preferred Skills

  • Masters degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • Familiarity with satellite and launch communications domain
  • Familiarity with Cloud
  • Experience working in a fast paced dynamic environment with a growth mindset
  • Demonstrated networking abilities among various DoD, IC, and commercial satellite communities
  • Demonstrated capture management experience and knowledge of major space prime contractors and commercial sat providers and the competitive landscape
  • Experience working with complex DoD and commercial acquisition processes
  • Master communication skills; ability to translate between internal language and that of the customer environment; ensure win strategies and differentiators are positioned relative to customer priorities
