This position is located in Denver, CO or remotely.

Core Responsibilities

  • Guide activities in the satellite and launch communication domain—from bid estimation through delivery—fostering relationships with and ensuring success of our customers
  • Monitor, execute, and instill programmatic controls of engineering and production programs, and promote an environment of peer partnerships
  • Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached and budget and funding channels are successfully managed
  • Develop and manage project budgets, and be accountable for delivering against established business goals and objectives
  • Work with other project managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department
  • Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders
  • Support bid and proposal efforts, designing the space solutions of tomorrow based on exceptional past performance and strong customer relationships

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or engineering-related field
  • 3+ years in a project management role (preference given to those with program management experience)
  • Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
  • Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes
  • May need to obtain and maintain a security clearance for this position

Preferred Skills

  • Active U.S. Government security clearance
  • Software development experience
  • Proven proposal writing experience
